Guardian LED Light
Rugid, compact, very waterproof, twist on-off. Recommend at least two, one to keep on PFD at all times and one for camp, tent light, pocket, etc. Wear it on top your hat for an all around white light for night paddling in a group (other kayakers will know where you are without totally blinding their night vission) or strap it onto the side of a strobe light to make a combination steady light for non-emergencies and stobe for distress. Bright enough to read charts, compass, etc. without being extremely blinding. Comes with batteries (2 coin sized watch batteries).
