We have two Demo events planned for 2007. The first one, will be at the

Tacoma Sea Kayak Symposium
Saturday & Sunday, May 19 & 20, 2007
9am - 5pm

2007 is the third anual Sea Kayak Symposium in Tacoma, WA on the weekend of May 19 & 20. The Kayak Academy will be there offering demos of Impex Kayaks and Wilderness Systems Tempest sea kayaks, Kokatat Dry Suits, and more. For more information on this symposium, see Tacoma Parks website and look under Activities and Programs You can get a beach-only day-pass for about $20.00 and try out gear from all the vendors at the beach (Owens Beach in Pt. Defiance Park), or for a little more you can attend classes and on the water lessons.

Our second scheduled demo for 2007 will be September 14 - 16, 2007 West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium at Port Townsend
Impex Kayaks and Wilderness Systems sea kayaks will be available for demos on the beach at Fort Warden State Park for those with a Symposium beach pass (availble by day at the Symposium) For more information on this symposium, see West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium

If you can't make it to these demos, email or call us to arrange a private demo/test paddle of our sea kayaks. You can arrange to demo our full line of Impex Kayaks and Tempest kayaks by Wilderness Systems on most weekends at Lake Sammamish State Park care of our rental concession (Issaquah Paddle Sports) at the swim beach.

Wear suitable clothes and footwear for kayaking.
Drysuit will be available for free use during your demo, but you'll need some synthetic long underwear and thin liner socks to wear under the dry suit.
