DETOUR ROUTES TO OUR STORE ( Note this does not affect our lesson meeting locations)

The DOT is replacing a bridge between Hwy 900 and our street. So from Hwy 900 there will be a 5 minute detour from June 21 - August 30, 2010. However, it's quicker and simpler to get here via the Front Street exit off I-90 (exit 17) or the Issaquah/Hobart Road exit off Hwy. 18.

From I-90:
Exit onto Front St (Exit 17 for Issaquah) and drive through town. Front St. becomes Issaquah-Hobart Rd follow. Continue to the stop light at SE May Valley Rd.
Right at the stop light and follow SE May Valley Rd through a 3 way blinking light intersection. Go around the partial baracade for "Local Access Only" and continue for 1 mile past the blinking light
Left onto 188th Ave SE which is at the end of a curve
Right at the Second driveway on the right. 11801 188th Ave SE

From Hwy 18:
Exit onto Issaquah-Hobart Rd.
Take a left onto Issaquah-Hobart Rd and follow it several miles to the stop light for SE May Valley Rd
Take a left onto SE May Valley Rd and follow it through a 3 way blinking light intersection. Go around the partial baracade for "Local Access Only" and continue for 1 mile past the blinking light
Left onto 188th Ave SE which is at the end of a curve
Right at the Second driveway on the right. 11801 188th Ave SE

From Hwy 900 (the detour route):

If you are driving EAST on I-90, as ususal take Exit 15 onto SR 900,
Follow SR 900 past May Valley Rd and take a left on 164th Ave SE by Jay Berry Restaurant
Take a left on SE 128 St.
Another left on SE 128th Way and follow to a 3 way intersection.
Left onto May Valley Rd, Go around the partial baracade for "Local Access Only" and continue for 1 mile past the blinking light
Left onto 188th Ave SE which is at the end of a curve
Right at the Second driveway on the right. 11801 188th Ave SE

Tibbitts Beach

Many of our lessons, events & Issaquah Paddle Sports Concession are held at Tibbitts Beach in Lake Sammamish State Park. At right is a picture of our storage sheds as we prepare for a class. Below is a Google map of Tibbitts Beach. Click on the blue place marker on the map for driving directions.
