Sea Kayaking 311 - Adventurous Journey Through Cattle Pass Tide Rip (advanced level)

Big adventure on a one-day advanced level kayak journey. Paddle the most challenging Tidal Rapids in the San Juan Islands on a day when the currents are at their strongest. Ride a 3 knot ebb current south while crossing Rosario Strait. Then stop and play in the infamous tide rips at Cattle Pass (at the S. end of Lopez I. and San Juan I.) during a 4-5 knot flood current. Gain experience with boat sized whirlpools, standing waves, and confused seas. At the end we will wheel our kayaks onto the ferry and ride back to Anacortes.

Join Bob Burnett as he guides and teaches "the" most challenging day trip in the San Juan Islands.
