Private Lessons

Private kayak lessons with George Gronseth are available by appointment year around.

Private lessons provide:

• Maximum individual attention
• Custom kayaking lessons that focus on the particular skills you want to learn
• Freedom to learn at your own pace
• Flexibility for those who can't fit into one of the Kayak Academy's regularly scheduled semi-private lessons
• An alternative when the regularly scheduled semi-private lessons are filled up

The most commonly requested private lesson is for an accelerated one-day version of the Kayak Academy's "Paddling Strokes & Rescue Techniques" course. Other private lessons include: Eskimo rolling, bracing, advanced rescues, guide training, river kayaking in sea kayaks, or just about any other sea kayaking topic you can think of.
