Shipping Policy
We ship our products within the United States by UPS or the US Postal Service Priority Mail. Call us to order if you reside outside of the United States. We do not ship kayaks.
Shipping and Handling Charges:
Less than $40 in products - we charge $5 for shipping and handling.
$40 to $100 - $9 in shipping and handling.
Over $100 - FREE shipping (does not apply to kayaks, used equipment, or close-out sale items)
Privacy Policy
We do not share our customer mailing list with anyone. We keep information on our customers for several reasons -
- So we can contact you if there is ever a product recall.
- So we can contact you to let you know about store specials or upcoming events (you can opt-out by sending us an e-mail).
- Keeping information allows us track the performance of our store and make changes when needed.
Return and Exchange Policy
Please carefully read the return and exchange policies for new regular price items, new sale items, used dry suits and all other used gear.
New regular priced items you have purchased from the Kayak Academy may be returned for credit or refund within 30 days from the date your order was shipped. Please examine the contents in your package and confirm it matches your order. Contact us immediately if you have any questions.
New sale priced items may be returned within 30 days from the date of shipment for store credit only.
Used items, with the exception of dry suits, sales are final.
Used dry suits may be returned within 10 days from the date of shipment for a full refund. After 5 days all sales are final.
Returns instructions are listed below and can be found at the top of your invoice.
Whether you made your purchase online, by phone, by mail or at Kayak Academy’s shop, you may return or exchange it by appointment at our Kayak Shop or return ship to us. Return shipping is your responsibility.
To make a return or exchange:
- Please include a copy of your receipt or invoice, or if you no longer have one of these, a letter with the following information:
- Name (or name of purchaser if item was a gift)
- Address
- Phone number
- E-mail address
- Date
- Reason for the return
- Purchase price of the item(s)
- Please specify whether you would like an exchange, store credit, or a refund.
- Insure the package for your protection and return to (Via UPS, USPS or FedEx):
