There are a few essential books that we recommend all paddlers (both whitewater and sea kayakers) read.Â
Sea Kayaker "DEEP TROUBLE" by Matt Broze & George Gronseth, edited by Christopher Cunningham. The paddling community dubbed this the "Kayakers Bible"
"FUNDAMENTALS OF KAYAK NAVIGATION" 4th edition by David Burch This is the most comprehensive book on Navigation for kayakers available.
"THE BOMBPROOF ROLL & BEYOND, Paddling on the Edge" Pat Dutky
 In addition, there are lots of books to further your education along with taking a class!
