Kokatat Inferno Paddling Mitt
Kokatat Inferno Paddling Mitt
Inferno Mitt is warmer than any neoprene paddling glove, and they are more supple than other similar paddling mittens on the market. Kokatat really got it right with these 3mm neoprene paddling mitts. The palm is bare rubber so they grip a paddle well, and there's no Lycra on the outside to absorb water and then cause evaporative cooling. Lycra on the inside makes them easy to slide on and off. Kokatat did some innovative design work so none of the seams are in annoying places (i.e. you won't feel a glue line in the crotch of the thumb where the paddle rubs against your hand). For all these reasons, these are the best neoprene paddling mittens.
Inferno Mitt has pre-curved fingers for holding a paddle, and having your fingers together is warmer than wearing gloves.
Get the warmth of pogie mitts plus the unrestricted freedom to move your hands along the paddle shaft. The Inferno Mitt is also unique in that it will stretch enough to slip around the sea kayak "T' carry handle. Most other paddling mitts you would need to take your mitt off.
The Kokatat's sizing is off a bit on these, so order one size bigger than what you would normally wear in other gloves.
Size: XS, S, M and XXL. L and XL are out of stock until 2025.
