Breath easier while wearing your dry suit or drytop on land. The neck reliever works like using your hands hold the neck gasket off your neck to give you relieve from the tight latex neck gasket -- except now your hands are free to eat lunch etc.

Use the connector to splice the tube of the neck ring together like a stiff necklace around your neck. Then stretch your dry suit's latex neck gasket over the outside of the neck reliever for ventilation and comfort while having lunch or wearing your dry suit in camp on a rainy day. When it's time to paddle just slip the gasket off the neck reliever and your back to wearing a dry suit. (If the gasket was stretched over the neck reliever while you were in the water it would make a big an open leak in your dry suit. So before paddling, take the neck reliever out and close your zippers.)
