All Valley and Northshore kayaks come with these hip pads (except the original Northshore pads are silver/grey but otherwise the same). They attach to the sides of the seat via two straps which wrap around the seat and come together at the aft end and share one buckle (Older models had two separate buckles but these are interchangeable with them.). They are sold as a Left and Right pair. These pads are only about 1/4" thick but more foam can be tucked between them and the seat (or taped or glued to the inside of the pads) if you need thicker padding.

These hip pads can be used with most other brands of kayaks provided you can wrap the straps around the sides of the seat.
